Red Hat Open Demos are the technical live demo sessions led by Red Hat Technical Experts. You can learn about Red Hat solutions and products and gain technical knowledge. As it’s the one of a series of Open Demos, you can find more information for other sessions.

 

 

One great aspect of Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) is it being seamless. This can easily be demonstrated by pushing one button to automate the provisioning of new cloud infrastructure instances, the RHEL OS configuration and the SAP S4/HANA and the SAP HANA provisioning.
Both systems will meet the SAP requirements (according to SAP Notes), which the Red Hat provided SAP system roles are taking care of. We demonstrate this deployment workflow within Ansible Automation Platform Services in Azure.

 

Besides running the deployment itself we will look into the setup and the structure of this automation demo and learn how things are plugged together and how participants can adapt this to their own needs. The link to the used git repositories will be disclosed and you are welcome to replicate. 

 

If time allows we will provide an outlook on how these systems can be registered to Red Hat Insights, which provides proactive health checks and ensures that your SAP environment is configured according to the current recommendations.
