This Ansible Network Automation workshop is a comprehensive beginners guide to automating popular network data center devices via Ansible playbooks. You’ll learn how to pull facts from devices, build templated network configurations, and apply these concepts at scale with Ansible automation Controller. You’ll put it all together by exploring the controller’s job templates, surveys, access controls and more.

Who should attend:

NetOps engineers, network operations engineers, network engineers, network architects, other network professionals and anyone interested in network automation.

Prerequisites:

  • Attendees should have some knowledge of networking basics, namely network concepts, configurations and operations
  • Attendees have ideally basic knowledge of ansible concepts and language, even though this is not mandatory to run the workshop
  • Attendees must use their own laptop with admin rights and the ability to connect to a lab environment hosted in a public cloud

Carlos Parada

EMEA Senior Specialist Solutions Architect, Red Hat

Carlos Parada joined Red Hat in February 2022 as EMEA Senior Specialist Solutions Architect and he works frequently with customers who are adopting Ansible Automation Platform for network automation. Previously, he worked with a networking vendor's professional services team as the Technical Lead Architect for Automation for a major European telco. He has also worked for many years with another European telco's R&D unit in areas such as engineering, networking, orchestration, or cloud; with the objective of helping subsidiary telcos in many geographies to succeed, developing innovative services, and creating PoCs to demonstrate emerging technologies.
