CABLE, MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT WEBINAR

DOCSIS 4.0: Overview and software-driven technology perspectives

November 1, 2023 | 1:00 PM - 1:30 PM ET

OVERVIEW

Cable companies continue on their IT modernization journeys for success. This means having applications, workloads, and infrastructure running wherever needed, including the datacenter, public cloud, or multicloud environments—all the way to the edge. And while technology boundaries are being pushed toward real-time services and increased reliability, the move to Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS) 4.0 is no exception. DOCSIS 4.0 is the latest iteration of the DOCSIS cable modem standard that will be rolling out soon.

Join our webinar for a Red Hat® overview and perspectives on:

  • DOCSIS 4.0 at a high level.
  • The opportunity for network convergence.
  • Efficiency through generative artificial intelligence (AI).
  • Journey to a hybrid cloud with microservices.
Learn about critical insertion points for network automation, how AI can help during deployment, and the potential benefits of the anticipated latency reduction.

Discover how Red Hat’s software-defined technologies and cloud-native platforms can help cable operators deliver increased speeds, connect to different access networks, and offer a bridge to the future.
