Come with questions. Leave with ideas.

Open source is collaborative curiosity. It’s about a culture with a desire to connect and the technologies to do it. Yet what draws our attention isn’t the technology alone; it’s what we can do with it. It gives us the platform for imagination, a focal point to collectively push for new possibilities.

Automation, AI, machine learning--these are a gift we gave ourselves, the luxury of reclaimed time to wonder. To ask not only “What if?” but also “What for?” and “With whom?”

Red Hat Forums are the place for these questions, a gathering of the curious, an arena of ideas to reinvent what we have and to dream of what we might. So join us in Copenhagen - come with questions, leave with ideas.

Look forward to:

Journey to Cloud-Native Applications with OpenShift
Full day hands-on workshop sponsored by Miracle
Note: Bring your own laptop
Audience: Developers and Java-oriented architects

What you will learn: In this workshop you will learn how to modernize an existing legacy monolithic application by applying microservice architecture principles, using modern lightweight runtimes like WildFly Swarm and Spring Boot, and deploying to container-based infrastructure using OpenShift Container Platform.
Labs detail: This lab is split into multiple scenarios, taking you through the process of understanding how you as a developer can most effectively use Red Hat technologies in deploying a monolith to OpenShift, wrapping it with a CI/CD pipeline, developing microservices to start replacing functionality in the monolith, and integrating it all together to form the beginnings of a complete modernization of an existing app.
