Overview

This is a one-day, hands-on workshop and networking event hosted exclusively for Wells Fargo covering both Ansible and Ansible Tower. Attendees will learn how to use Ansible to automate network operations and acquire the skills needed to implement Ansible and Ansible Tower at their organizations.  Join us afterward for craft beer tasting and light fare.

The workshop is limited to 30 attendees. Only individuals that have registered in advance will be accommodated. The happy hour is open to all Wells Fargo Employees. Register now.

  • Demo: Installing Ansible
  • How Ansible Works and its Key Components
  • Exploring the lab environment
  • Writing your first playbook
12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m Lunch
1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Afternoon session
  • Module documentation, registering output & tags
  • Using Ansible to update router configurations
  • Backing up the router configuration
  • Using Ansible to restore the backed up configuration
  • An introduction to templating with Jinja2
  • Building dynamic documentation using the command parser
4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Happy hour: Craft beer tasting and small plates
