Wes Neubeck, Director, Azure Application Innovation – Defense, Microsoft

Wes Neubeck comes from a background of Data Center consolidations and Cloud Migrations, working with the Defense Department for over 15 years. Through low code/no code experiences at Salesforce, Wes is now with Microsoft Federal leading Azure App Innovation for Defense. His team there is focused further into Developer tools and Orchestration offerings within Azure Government, Secret, & Top-Secret.

Colonel (Retired) Charles A. Wells, Senior Account Executive - National Security Programs, Red Hat

Charlie Wells is a Senior Account Executive at Red Hat supporting the US Intelligence Community (IC); he has been recognized twice as a Red Hat Federal Top Gun Award winner. Prior to Red Hat, Charlie was a Senior Account Executive at Symantec (now Broadcom), where he was Symantec’s Intelligence Community Account Executive of the Year for both 2017 and 2018. Charlie is also a retired Army Military Intelligence /Acquisition Corps Officer.

Rick Kaufman, Technical Director, Microsoft Federal

Rick Kaufman is a highly accomplished Microsoft Technical Director, bringing over 20 years of military experience as well as his experience as a Civil Servant, Systems Integrator, and a successful tenure at Microsoft to his role. As an Air Force veteran, he served as a Space Systems Operator, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician, and Deployed Tactical Communications Architect. Leveraging his diverse background, Rick excels at providing strategic guidance to Federal customers to help drive innovation. He is recognized for his unwavering commitment to excellence and his ability to deliver tailored solutions that align with mission-critical objectives. Outside of work, John enjoys spending quality time with his family, reading, cars, and skydiving.

Sompop Noiwan, Solution Strategist, Red Hat

Sompop Noiwan is a solution strategist at Red Hat. He brings over 20 years experience in architecting and delivery of modern IT systems across federal and state and local governments amongst defense, law enforcement, financial and health agencies.
 
He holds broad experiences in applications and infrastructure ecosystems as part of a holistic approach to solutions. He has a passion for IT systems that address the concerns of aligning IT solutions to accelerating mission outcomes while maximize the outcomes of agency missions and results that benefit constituent citizens.
 
At Red Hat, he is helping clients to adopt digital transformation systems that take into account alignment between maximizing value of existing IT investments with modern technologies and architectural patterns to balance innovation with practicality towards minimizing cost and time to value. He champions the adoption of innovative open source and open standards technologies that minimize adoption risk to meet mission needs.
