OVERVIEW

Big Bang is now on OpenShift®! Big Bang, Platform One’s (P1) DevSecOps platform built from DoD hardened and approved packages, now comes with all the extra features, and functionality, from running on OpenShift. This workshop is for anyone who is trying to make sense of the following requirements or topics: GitOps, containers, P1, Iron Bank, cATO, (micro)services, cloud, pipelines, DevSecOps, platform engineering, etc. Come listen to Red Hat demystify these topics and also share their involvement with P1.

What you’ll learn: During this workshop, we will walk through a full installation of Big Bang with all of its components. Installation will be followed by a demonstration of day 1 and day 2 activities that integrate Big Bang and OpenShift components. In particular you will:

  • Understand the modernization journey
  • Get an introduction and overview of Big Bang on OpenShift
  • See Big Bang installation on OpenShift in real time (anticipate taking approx 20 mins)
  • Understand how this marriage is complemented with Openshift native capabilities
