Who is this workshop best for?
 
This workshop is intended for people who are looking at moving to containers or have just gotten started with Kubernetes, and want to learn the basics of using Red Hat® OpenShift to make that move from monolithic applications to containers efficiently and reduce the risks inherent in that change.
 
What will I learn? 
  • What is Red Hat OpenShift and how does it relate to Kubernetes?
  • Why do we need both Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift?
  • How to deploy applications to Red Hat OpenShift.
  • A basic overview of Red Hat OpenShift resources.
Description

This is a no cost workshop for both government and contractors. This workshop is intended to give you a hands-on introduction to using OpenShift from the perspective of a developer and an administrator. 
A sample lab guide can be found here.

This workshop is bring your own device (BYOD), so bring your own laptop.  Besides your device, a web browser is needed.
