WEBINAR

Open source security for Charter Communications

March 8, 2023 | 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM ET

OVERVIEW

Are your private code repositories truly safe? Is two-factor authentication always enough? How protected are you from ransomware? What should we do about those keyboards that type by themselves? The year 2022 ended with some serious cybersecurity attacks, and the cost to execute these attacks is decreasing, while the complexity is increasing.

At Red Hat, we address security across our entire hybrid cloud portfolio. For this session, we’ll do a comprehensive study of Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® security.

In this Charter Communications webinar, we’ll provide a Red Hat Enterprise Linux security refresh, while exploring:

  • Recent trends in cybersecurity attacks.
  • A stronger security focus with open source.
  • Security features gained with each release.
  • How vulnerabilities transition from new common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVEs), to Red Hat security advisories, and ultimately, Red Hat Enterprise Linux updates.
  • Physical security strategies with edge deployments.
In addition, we’ll provide a refresher on Red Hat Enterprise Linux security components (out of band and inline), review how Red Hat Enterprise Linux may be hardened to help prevent cybersecurity attacks, and illustrate how Red Hat Enterprise Linux’s security signature is stronger than the derivatives.

Duration
This talk is scheduled for 45 minutes, including 10 minutes at the end for Q&A.
