OVERVIEW
Are your private code repositories securely safeguarded? Is two-factor authentication always enough? How protected are you from ransomware? What should we do about those keyboards that type by themselves? The year 2022 ended with some serious cybersecurity attacks. The cost of executing these attacks is decreasing, while the complexity of safeguarding against them is increasing.
At Red Hat, we address security across our entire hybrid cloud portfolio, and in this webinar session, we’ll do a comprehensive study into Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® security.
During this webinar for Comcast and affiliates, we’ll provide a Red Hat Enterprise Linux security refresh, while exploring:
- Recent trends in cybersecurity attacks.
- Security strategies in open source.
- Security features gained with each release.
- The way vulnerabilities transition from new common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVEs) to Red Hat security advisories and Red Hat Enterprise Linux updates.
- Physical security required with edge deployments.
We’ll provide a refresher on Red Hat Enterprise Linux security components (out of band and inline), review how Red Hat Enterprise Linux may be hardened to help prevent cybersecurity attacks, and illustrate how Red Hat Enterprise Linux security signature is stronger than the derivatives.
Duration
This talk is scheduled for 45 minutes, including 10 minutes at the end for Q&A.
