This is the second Quarkus on Red Hat® OpenShift® workshop for the Kaiser Permanente virtual workshop event.
Quarkus is a Kubernetes native-JavaTM stack tailored for GraalVM and OpenJDK HotSpot, crafted from the best Java libraries and standards. Amazing boot time speed, incredibly low, really simple syndication (RSS) memory (not just heap size) offering near instant scale up and high-density memory usage in container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. Quarkus uses a technique called compile-time boot and offers a unified imperative and reactive programming model and several other developer features like live reload to make development pleasant for your team.
Getting started: Participants will use Red Hat CodeReady Workspaces to develop Quarkus applications and deploy them to Red Hat OpenShift 4. The user experience is as efficient and familiar as an integrated developer environment (IDE) on your laptop. All you will need to have is internet access.
