In conjunction with Globe Telecom, Red Hat is running a hands-on course to explain how your organization can improve efficiency and effectiveness through automation. This will be a hands-on workshop. The 3-day course will cover the following topics:

• Introducing Ansible (what it is and, more importantly, what it is not);
• Inventories
• Ansible Configuration
• Ad-Hoc Commands
• Writing and Running Playbooks
• Variables, Secrets, and Facts
• Loops and Conditions
• Handlers
• Dealing with Task Failure Copying Files
• Modifying Files
• Templates
• Roles
• Good Practices for Ansible

Each participant must have their own laptop. Attendees must come with a laptop with admin rights and the ability to connect to a lab environment hosted in a public cloud. Attendees must have working knowledge of using network device CLI as well as a conceptual understanding of network concepts (different playbooks, etc.), devops, and distributed application architecture. Attendees should have working knowledge of using SSH and command line shell (BASH).
