The evolution of traditional Radio Access Networks (RAN) towards a decomposed, disaggregated Cloud RAN is perhaps the most disruptive aspect of the 5G transformation. Cloud RAN is an important enabler to materialize the goals set by 5th Generation of Mobile technology (aka: 5G).

This session will explore the RAN transformation journey, introduce the Red Hat OpenShift® Cloud Platform (OCP), and discuss various OCP-based cloud RAN deployment models.
