Financial Services Roundtable

November 16, 2022 | 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM PT | Vancouver Marriott Downtown

OVERVIEW

Join us on Wednesday November 16th, at the Vancouver Marriott Downtown, for a candid and interactive meeting with your peers in the Financial Services industry.

Join your Credit Union peers and thought leaders, as we uncover common challenges facing today’s Financial Services organizations in Western Canada.  Bring your pressing concerns, obstacles and key objectives to an open forum where participation is expected and confidentiality is assured.

The format is simple. We’ll begin with a brief introduction and guidelines for engagement, then set the stage and context for your involvement with a brief panel discussion and Q&A.

The balance of our time will provide the platform for knowledge sharing and ideas as we define and unpack your most pressing issues through an open, yet guided conversation framework.

The outputs are for you to shape. At a minimum, we aim to identify the top challenges Credit Unions like yourself are facing today and begin thinking about the strategies you can put in place to turn those challenges into opportunities for success... for you and your members.

Our Panel will address a number of questions that are top of mind with leaders like you. The goal is to inspire your feedback, and to validate or tune what we’re hearing in the market.

  • “We define our success by our members’ success.” What does that look like today and how will it look in the years to come? How do we ensure we’re supporting our members/clients beyond their expectations along that journey and enabling their growth and not just their survival?
  • How do we leverage technology to deliver exceptional customer experiences in an ever-changing business and economic landscape in Western Canada?
  • How do we exploit Cloud, Edge and Automation technologies to help us remain competitive?
  • Where and when does partnering with a consulting or services provider make sense?

Moderator: John Wang, Deloitte Consulting

Panelists:
Paul Pinkney, General Manager - Canada, Red Hat®
Fred Cook, CIO, BlueShore Financial
Steve Dobrenski, VP Regional Partners, Temenos
