This workshop for Charter Communications is intended for people who want to learn the basics of the Ansible® Automation Platform 2, including the Automation Controller, as well as understand how they work and how they can be used to automate basic tasks. In addition, the instructor will provide information on differentiation between the upstream project and the product offering from Red Hat®.

What is Ansible, how does it work in the most basic form on the command line - and where does the Automation Controller fit it?

This workshop teaches the basic bits you need to start using the Ansible Automation Platform on your own. In the second half we will focus on the Automation Controller and show where it fits in - and when and why you absolutely need it when you automate more and more.
