The big green short: How to get ahead of the repricing of every asset on the planet

Underway in the world today is a fundamental shift to a lower carbon economy and the resulting revaluation of nearly every asset on the planet. This webinar addresses the dilemma of firms today: should we wait for regulation and then modify our businesses or be a first mover to take advantage of an opportunity.

In particular, it will explore the consequences of a business’s mere existence, let alone its competitiveness, if it gets this judgement call wrong. In essence, how will a business know if it is on the right or the wrong side of the price of a trade or a product - which is the essence of running risk using a limited amount of risk capital.

This asset revaluation requires new models with significantly more compute capacity across both on-premise and cloud environments.  Effective firms will recognize this need and start modernising their risk plant in advance of regulations.  We will explore the practical ways in which this can be done.
