OVERVIEW

You are invited to the upcoming, virtual, Ansible® Network Automation Workshop coming on November 16, 2022.         

The Red Hat® Ansible Network Automation Workshop is a one-day, hands-on workshop covering both Ansible and Ansible Tower. Attendees will learn how to use Ansible to automate network operations and acquire the skills needed to implement Ansible and Ansible Tower at their organizations.

Note: In this workshop, attendees will be managing network devices, such as Cisco routers.

  • How Ansible works for network automation
  • Exploring the lab environment
  • Execute your first network automation playbook
  • Use Ansible facts on network devices
  • Ansible Network Resource Modules
  • Explore the Automation controller environment
  • Create an Automation controller job template
  • Create an Automation controller Survey
  • Using the Role Based Access Control (RBAC) feature
  • Create an Automation controller Workflow

Who should attend: This workshop is geared toward network operators, network engineers, cloud administrators, DevOps engineers, security professionals and anyone interested in network automation.

Prerequisites: Attendees should have working knowledge of using SSH and command line shell (BASH) as well as a conceptual understanding of linux system administration (how to use simple commands like cd, ls, mv, mkdir, etc).

*Attendees must have a laptop with ADMIN rights and the ability to SSH to a lab environment hosted in a public cloud and must bring/use a laptop with Chrome 73+, Firefox 60+, Edge 40+, or Safari 12+installed.
