RED HAT, AQUA, AND IBM POWER WORKSHOP

Zero trust architectures for app modernization: A pragmatic approach

September 13, 2022 | 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM | Red Hat Office - NYC

OVERVIEW

As organizations embark on the journey towards application modernization, selecting the right hybrid cloud platform and managing the risk of new software delivery pipelines present key hurdles in their path.

In this interactive session, we will discuss and walk through practical examples how organizations can apply Zero Trust principles for application modernization based on cloud native, containerization and Kubernetes tools. Providing perspectives across enterprise stakeholders and the digital estate, IBM Power, Red Hat® and Aqua will outline how to implement an integrated security philosophy to achieve application modernization objectives.

Attendees can expect to learn:
  • How to build a framework for applying Zero Trust principles for application modernization
  • What are the components of an end to end strategy for Zero Trust architectures for cloud native applications
  • What are the practical first steps towards implementing a Zero Trust architecture from a system, platform and software pipeline perspective
  • How to integrate prevention, risk detection and recovery into new delivery processes and cloud native infrastructure such as Kubernetes
  • How to automate zero trust enforcement for run-time threat prevention
  • A server infrastructure design example with hardware and system software security to compliment the Zero Trust journey
Lunch will be served.
