Country Manager

As country manager, Tammy Tan is responsible for overall sales and business aspects of Red Hat Malaysia. In this role, she leads the country team to drive sustainable growth by building strong and collaborative relationships with enterprise customers, as well as partners.

Tammy joined Red Hat from Cisco Malaysia where she served as the Director of Enterprise and Commercial. She brings with her 21 years of experience in the IT industry, with deep experience in Financial Services, as well as a broad perspective on vertical solutions within the Energy, Oil and Gas Sector, Transportation, Manufacturing and Hospitality.

Tammy has a passion for STEM, and started her career as one of the first female engineers at Siemens and NTT Communications. She holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Multimedia University of Malaysia.

Senior Manager, Solution Architecture

Kelvin has over 20 years of experience in IT strategy and execution. He has engaged with multiple Clients to define their IT strategy and roadmaps. His execution work also encompasses transforming organisations and migrate a into an agile digital infrastructure.

He has provided subject matter expertise across multiple clients to provide Design and Architecture on the infrastructure platform, Cloud technologies, systems monitoring and data centre relocation, cloud migration and consolidation.

In his previous capacity as a Consulting Director and a Practice Lead, Kelvin has led and guided multiple financial clients within the Asia Pacific region to transform and adopt both Cloud Platforms and Cloud-Native development work to meet their digital demands.

Solutions Architect Manager

I am a person passionate about open source technology and solution, enjoy solving challenging problem around architecture and solution design. I am carrying myself with over 19 years of middleware technology and experience in IBM Middleware, Oracle Middleware, Red Hat JBoss Middleware, Cloud Native Application, Microservices, DevOps and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform. Most of my career time is spent helping customers or partners realising their business needs with technology.

Senior Manager, Solution Architecture

Martin is very passionate about DevOps and cloud technology. He has partnered many enterprises and government agencies to realize their transformation initiatives from the people, process and technology angles. He comes with 20+ years of IT experience and hopes to bring some of his insights to bear.

Associate Principal Solution Architect

Yap Foo Hong is an experienced Linux consultant who can architect, implement, maintain and administer Open Source related solutions. During his more than 10 years of experience in IT field, Yap has participated in a number of large-scale projects ranging from major telecommunications infrastructure implementation to large-scale bank system deployment.

Yap is the first Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) in Malaysia. The RHCA is the capstone of the Red Hat certification program and incorporates a certified mastery of Red Hat enterprise Linux systems and the ability to architect solutions tackling some of the biggest IT challenges.

Head, Customer Advisory, Malaysia & Vietnam, SAS

Lina Tong heads the Customer Advisory team for both Malaysia & Vietnam for SAS Malaysia. Lina is responsible for industry awareness for Banking, Insurance, Oil & Gas, Utilities and Public Sector; and she is instrumental in helping key customers to develop strategies and working with customers in adopting SAS solutions.

Lina is responsible for driving SAS towards market expansion of their technology and applications into mainstream; delivering strategic insights to C-Level management, business users and IT across different industries. Some of her key focus areas are in the areas of fraud and security intelligence, data management, analytics as well as providing advisory on areas including data governance, modernization, analytics and fraud practices.

Lina has more than 25 years of IT experiences in solution management, business development, consulting, training and have been involved in many projects across various businesses.

FSI Account Manager, Enterprise, AWS Malaysia

Kok Wei runs an Enterprise Territory business in AWS Malaysia that comprises of some of the largest Banks, Payments, Insurance and Capital Markets customers who are all in a various stages of their cloud adoption journey. His first 18 months with AWS was with Professional Services as an Advisory Consultant where he led one of the largest AWS customer in Malaysia through a multi-year digital transformation journey.

Before his chapter at AWS, he founded and led an ISV business in Malaysia where he developed various IP on software for internet & mobile self-service portals, payments, receivables, lending, and insurance solutions to financial services customers in Malaysia and several countries in ASEAN.
