DICT Technical Hands-on Workshop Series: Linux Automation

OVERVIEW

This workshop consists of two parts:

Starting with the basics of understanding foundational command line activities
Applying what you’ve learned to implement Ansible automation controller to your enterprise use cases.

You’ll start off by writing your first Ansible playbook, work on Jinja templates, and implement higher-level Ansible roles. Next you’ll get started on automation controller, understand inventory and credential management, projects, job templates, surveys, workflows and more.

Technical Pre-Requisites

Workstation with Stable Chrome browser version
Stable internet connection

Skills Pre-Requisites

Basic Linux Administration skills
Virtualization and Linux scripting skills is a plus but NOT required

Anthony was a DevOps engineer from Ericsson working on the AT&T Integrated Cloud/Network Cloud Project in the United States. In this role, he has used Ansible to deploy and upgrade more than 50 customized OpenStack cloud clusters across the U.S and international production sites. He was also working as a core member/developer of the OpenStack Airship project prior to joining Red Hat.

He is currently working as a regional Cloud Automation Specialist Solution Architect with Red Hat, focusing primarily on Ansible Automation solutions.
