  • Get an introduction and overview to Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS 
  • Create your own ROSA Cluster
  • Deploy a node.js based application via S2I and Kubernetes Deployment objects
  • Explore networking within Kubernetes and applications
  • Gain familiarization with OpenShift and Kubernetes functionality via a deployed app on Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS

With over twenty-five years of experience in all phases of design, development, implementation and sales of computer applications.

Jim Garrett is part of the North American Channel Solutions Architecture Group working with the executive leadership of enterprises to innovatively drive Cloud Transformation with Open Source technologies. Jim provides thought leadership on various concepts including Cloud Migration/Development, Continuous Integration and Delivery and DevOps. In his current role at Red Hat, Jim engages with all levels of management (CxO, SVP, VP, Director) and sales (Architects, Delivery, etc) in the role of a Trusted Advisor to educate, enable and direct them on the advantages of Red Hat Open Source technology as they navigate the waters of understanding the concept of Open Source and how they can use free software to produce huge dividends.  To accomplish this, Jim injects techniques based on Design Thinking into the Account Planning sessions to encourage organizations to focus on the people they're creating for to effectively address the business needs of the Partner (and their clients) with emerging technologies across Financial, Healthcare, Retail, Energy and Telco industries.

Senthil Nagaraj

Senthil Nagaraj is a Partner Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services, partnering with Red Hat and IBM to help customers in their cloud journey. Senthil has over 15 years of experience across application architecture, DevOps and more recently DevSecOps. 

Prior to AWS, Senthil was a Senior Technology Architect with  Cognizant, helping customers across industry verticals with their challenges in IT transformation and digital adoption. Senthil lives in Richmond VA with his wife and two daughters. When he is not solving customer challenges he is either watching sports or wandering about in the Shenandoah mountains.
