Laurent is Director of Solution Engineering for NGINX in APCJ, an F5 business unit. Originally from France and currently based in Singapore, Laurent and his team of solutions engineers support customers, and partners in deploying Application Services as well as application security to ease their digital transformation, and improve adoption of modern applications. Laurent has been with F5 for 16 years where he has been responsible for different areas of the business prior to joining the NGINX BU, starting as an SE Manager in France, then moving as a Partner SE Manager in APCJ. Before joining F5, Laurent help technical roles at Check Point and Dimension Data.

Irwan brings a strong background in Strategic Business Technology Management, Professional Services, and Solution Architecture. Over the last 20 years, he worked for IT Consulting organizations such as NTT, Accenture, IBM Global Business Services, and Oracle. He has also had the opportunity to be on the customer side, having held IT management roles for Home Credit, Trans7, and Royal Ahold (Netherlands).

He has helped clients from various industries with their IT transformation projects; advised them on Hybrid/Multi-Cloud Architecture as they embarked on their Cloud Journey. He is particularly proud to have led CIMB Niaga’s transformation project (1 Platform) - modernizing their new Core Banking application. He also spent time in the Czech Republic as an Agile Transformation agent to deliver Scrum Agile Framework and DevOps in Home Credit’s HQ in Prague.

Irwan is a Certified Solutions Architect for Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud. And he is also Scrum.org’s certified Professional Scrum Master and Six Sigma Black Belt. Irwan received a scholarship from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT): CSAIL (Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence Laboratory) to explore and design disruptive business solutions and technological innovations applied to Financial Services.

Michael Cheo is a Solutions Architect for NGINX, based in Singapore. With over 15years of experience in IT, Michael has gained end-to-end expertise in implementing technology solutions for enterprises across Asia. Michael has been with F5 Networks for the past 7 years and in early 2020, Michael moved to take on the role of Solutions Architect for the NGINX business unit. With his passion for agile methodologies and DevOps practices, Michael is helping customers across Asia to roll out NGINX modern application solutions. Prior to NGINX, Michael was a Specialist at Maxis Communications Bhd, and an Engineering Service Manager at Amdocs Interactive, to name a few. Michael has an Electronic Engineering degree from Multimedia University, majoring in Computer.
