Red Hat Yard Goats event

We are excited to be back in the field and we are looking forward to seeing you at the June 15th Yard Goats game at Dunkin Donuts Park.

Our event will feature Red Hat’s own CTO, Chris Wright, who will discuss, “The Next Technology Frontier.”

Chris will talk about the evolution of open hybrid cloud and Red Hat’s vision for the future. He’ll also share his views on open source software, cloud services, next-gen platforms, data and AI, and the security that’s required at all companies today.

We will meet in the Lewis and Fegan Real Estate Community Center at Dunkin Donuts Park at 4:30 PM for the presentation. Following the presentation we will head down to our reserved suite for some great food, libations and Yard Goats baseball.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER

Chris Wright
Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Red Hat®

Chris Wright is Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Red Hat. He leads the Office of the CTO, which is responsible for incubating emerging technologies and developing forward-looking perspectives on innovations like artificial intelligence, cloud and edge computing, distributed storage, software-defined networking and network functions virtualization, containers, automation and continuous delivery, and distributed ledgers.

During his 25 years as a software engineer, Wright has worked in the telecommunications industry and beyond on high-availability and distributed systems. He also has experience in the Linux® industry on security, virtualization, and networking. Wright has been a Linux developer for more than 15 years, with most of this time spent working deep in the Linux kernel. He is passionate about open source software serving as the foundation for next-generation IT systems.
