Container development and test on your local laptop
We need fast and simple processes for the creation, running and testing of container images as part of the microservice-based application development process. In this session we will show the open source tool, Podman, can be used for the creation and execution of container images on a local laptop (MAC and Linux). Ultimately, the goal is to run containers as part of a wider microservice based application on the container platform, OpenShift.
The session will also show how to use Red Hat CodeReady containers to run a local instance of OpenShift on your aptop incorporating both command line and graphical interfaces to align to the OpenShift enterprise platform upon which your containers will run once in production.
