We’re happy to announce the availability of our first technology preview of the Red Hat OpenShift Service Mesh, based on the Istio Project.

The advancement of application/software development practices combined with technology/practice improvements in software delivery have resulted in a proliferation of application instances within many organizations. Whether these are macro/monoliths or microservices, as the quantity of services increases, both the number and complexity of interactions increases.

Join us for a half-day hands-on experience to learn more about:

  • What is a Service mesh?

  • What is Istio and how to deploy Istio to your Kubernetes cluster?

  • Enable your existing microservice applications to be part of the Service mesh

  • What are the benefits that Istio brings to your DevOps culture? e.g. A/B Testing, Chaos engineering, Traffic splitting etc
