Build-a-Container: a hands-on introduction to secure enterprise ready containers

OVERVIEW

The future of enterprise applications is containers.

This is because they provide a universal and portable packaging method for workloads and are the stepping stone to a fully automated and agile environment.

We know from speaking with our customers that it’s hard to find talent, solutions or answers to what is best for your organisation. Containers and Kubernetes are hand in glove, but without first understanding containers it's a lot to take in.

This 3-4 hour immersive session is a crash course introduction to containers, what you should be concerned about and steps you can take to securely containerise applications.

Specifically we will look at:

• Best practices in creating secure and containerised applications
• How to run, manage and deploy containers
• Security exploits and how to address them
• Container provenance
• Hands on building a secure container

Developers, operations, architects or anyone curious about what makes up a container and how to use them in a linux environment. You will also get a free development space to run and build your own container!
