Expand your knowledge with Red Hat Training

June 6, 2019New York, New YorkRed Hat Office

Join us for an introductory workshop on Red Hat’s core technologies

Red Hat is the world’s leading provider of enterprise open source solutions, using a community-powered approach to deliver high-performing Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies.

Over the course of this introductory session, attendees will learn about three core Red Hat technologies:

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Our foundational platform, RHEL powers the apps that run your business across bare-metal, virtual, containerized, and private and public clouds..
  • Red Hat Ansible Automation. Ansible Engine is an automation platform with hundreds of modules that can automate all aspects of IT environments and processes—and Red Hat Ansible Tower—a management interface that can integrate with other services.
  • Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform. Our container application platform brings Docker and Kubernetes to the enterprise. Regardless of your applications architecture, OpenShift lets you easily and quickly build, develop, and deploy in nearly any infrastructure, public or private.

During this session, our experts will demonstrate the features and functionality of these three technologies. Topics covered include:

  • An overview of Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • New features included in our newest release, RHEL 8
  • Examples of key Ansible use cases
  • A demonstration of a simple Ansible playbook
  • Manipulating pre-build container images to create and manage containerized services
  • Deploying a single container application on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform

Members of our Training and Certification team will also discuss our hands-on training and practical certification that can prepare you to maximize productivity and minimize downtime across all of Red Hat’s technologies.

Who Should Attend:

This session is geared towards system and network administrators, DevOps engineers, and application developers interested in understanding Red Hat’s various offerings and how to get started.

After this introductory session, we would like you to join us for a networking happy hour where you will have the opportunity to discuss with your peers and Red Hat experts on how to stay ahead of the curve.
