Red Hat Multi-cloud, “Under the hood” of a Consistent Multicloud Operating Model

OVERVIEW

Following on from the Red Hat Multi-cloud, showcase at the CBA Lunch & Learn on February 22nd, this session takes a closer look at consistent multi cloud operations.

As CBA shifts to a multi-cloud reference architecture, we engaged with key stakeholders from architecture, engineering and multiple business domains at CBA to explore the challenges of operating critical applications across clouds.  We have built a consistent multi-cloud container environment across AWS, Azure and IBM Cloud IaaS (simulating on premises or co-lo data center locations). We will leverage this environment and a 3-tier mobile banking application to show:

• Consistent security infrastructure across Multi Cloud showing Single Sign On as an example
• Resilience across Cloud providers leveraging open source technologies such as Submariner and CockroachDB
• Observability through integration with AWS Cloudwatch a technology already in the CBA cloud ecosystem
