A hands-on workshop used to teach the fundamentals of Red Hat® Ansible Automation Platform through installation and management of web servers deployed on Red Hat Enterprise Linux® 8.

Overview of provisioning onto a public cloud Converting bash/shell commands into Ansible commands to deploy across multiple Linux servers Retrieving information from Linux in Ansible facts (structured data)
Deploying applications to Linux at scale Covering web servers deployment
Self-service IT via surveys to configure Linux Overview of System Roles for Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Overview of Red Hat Insights integration

Who should attend:

DevOps engineers, operations engineers, systems engineers, release engineers, system administrators, developers, operations staff, network engineers, security professionals and anyone interested in IT automation.

Prerequisites:

Attendees should have basic Linux administration skills and experience using standard commands such as curl, cd, tree, mkdir and understand Linux filesystems as well as standard package management (e.g. yum)
Attendees must have a laptop with ADMIN rights and the ability to SSH to a lab environment hosted in a public cloud.
