This session will help you gain the knowledge that you need to make the best container orchestration infrastructure decision for cloud-native application development—a foundation to accelerate your company’s innovation and better serve customers. In this session, we’ll discuss the what, how, who, and why of selecting a container orchestration infrastructure; the relationship between Linux® and containers; the different options available for your organization if you want to move to Kubernetes for container orchestration; automation as a key function of delivering and managing containers and container-based applications; as well as customer patterns of success.

He has directly contributed to the success of a wide range of organizations from startups to the largest financial institutions in the world. Currently serving as a Chief Architect for Red Hat’s strategic customers, Joe helps organizations deliver on their transformation and modernization initiatives. Evangelizing the concept of open innovation, he focuses on accelerating the adoption of open source in an innovative, safe, and sustainable way. Joe’s five years of experience supporting large, U.S.-based financial services organizations have given him a solid perspective on how to help some of the most complex organizations succeed both culturally and with open hybrid cloud, distributed computing, and containers at scale.
