A 3-hour hands-on introduction to Ansible for Red Hat Enterprise Linux Automation for System Administrators and Operators.
Red Hat® Ansible® Automation Platform is a foundation for building and operating automation across an organization. The platform includes all the tools needed to implement enterprise-wide automation.
System administrators and operators who manage and configure enterprise Linux systems.
Attendees should have little to no experience with Ansible or the Red Hat® Ansible® Automation Platform. This is a beginners level course that covers Ansible fundamentals for common system administration scenarios.
You will need SSH and HTTPS access to the lab environment and to be outside of the company network.
What is Ansible, how does it work in the most basic form on the command line - and where does Ansible Tower fit it?
This workshop teaches the basic bits you need to start using Ansible Automation on your own.
In the second half we will focus on Ansible Tower and show where it fits in - and when and why you absolutely need it when you automate more and more.
