You may have asked yourself do I need antivirus for OpenShift? Well, the answer depends on your understanding of Antivirus. Running workloads in containers on Linux requires a different perspective on security than deploying them in VMs on Windows. Whilst the security controls for avoiding, detecting, counteracting, and minimizing security risks stay the same, the practices, principles, and technologies used to do this in the Kubernetes world are out of the ordinary for many security experts.
