At Red Hat we know that your time is precious. We also know that you want to accelerate innovation, become more efficient, improve quality and reduce project costs. So we have created a series of Tech Talks to introduce you to Red Hat technology with an optional hands on element for you to experiment and try it for yourself.
This tech talk is on using AMQ streams.
The Red Hat AMQ streams component is a scalable, distributed, and high-performance data streaming platform based on the Apache Kafka project. It offers a distributed backbone that allows microservices and other applications to share data with high throughput and low latency.
The session will cover how AMQ Streams can be used as part of a solution when creating event driven application architectures on the container platform, Red Hat OpenShift. We will being by introducing event driven architecture as a concept, how Apache Kafka helps solve implementation challenges frequently faced and how AMQ Streams supports in bringing the functionality of Apache Kafka to the Red Hat Application Services portfolio.
The session will include time for Q&A and you are welcome to contact the presenter afterwards to discuss your own requirements further.
