Windows Automation

Join us along with some automation specialists for a workshop where you will get hands-on with Ansible, build out some use cases with the platform and learn about how organisations often adopt automation in Windows environments.

Date: Friday 20th August 2021
Time: 10am to 2pm ( 4 hours )

In this workshop, attendees will get experience with:

• Understanding of Windows automation, what Ansible is and how it behaves
• Building and executing Ansible content (Playbooks)
• Installing and managing Windows services and configuration
• Using templates for aspects like IIS sites
• Patching and package management using Chocolatey

Who should attend:

• Anyone interested in Windows automation

Pre-requisites:

• You will need a laptop able to connect to a browser-based code editor or a command line shell capable of connecting to a lab environment hosted in a public cloud
• Knowledge of VS Code is helpful, as well as a conceptual understanding of Windows systems
