July 20, 202110:00 AM - 11:00 AM (GMT+01:00) Greenwich Mean Time : Dublin, Edinburgh, Lisbon, London

About the Tech Talk

At Red Hat we know that your time is precious. We also know that you want to accelerate innovation, become more efficient, improve quality and reduce project costs. So, we have created a series of Tech Talks to introduce you to Red Hat technology where we will present and demonstrate a specific topic with time for you to ask questions and discuss your scenario.

This talk is on Red Hat Operating System Distributions

The presentation and demonstration will compare and contrast Red Hat's Operating System distributions, examining the use-cases to identify which distribution and/or subscription is applicable in what scenario. The talk will cover Fedora, CentOS Stream, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), as well as Fedora CoreOS and Red Hat Enterprise Linux CoreOS (RHCOS). Furthermore, a discussion of the operating system-tree technology will lead to a demonstration that explores RHEL for Edge.

This presentation and demonstration will include time for Q&A and you are welcome to contact the presenter afterwards to discuss your own specific requirements.

How is it delivered?

Due to the current requirement for many to work from home, we have adapted the event for remote delivery.

  • Access to the web meeting facility Google Meets so participants can see the presenter's screen.
