Red Hat Tech Talk - Apache Spark on OpenShift

So we have created a series of Tech Talks to introduce you to Red Hat technology with an optional hands on element for you to experiment and try it for yourself.

 

This tech talk is on Apache Spark on OpenShift

The presentation and demonstration will introduce the concepts of running Spark workloads on the OpenShift platform, allowing the use of a Container based system for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence solutions. This tech talk will walk through building a simple Spark application, deploying it directly onto an OpenShift cluster via the command line and also using the Spark Operator to run Spark workloads via simple YAML. If you are interested in Machine Learning and AI on OpenShift this is a good starting point.
