Join us at the next Portland Red Hat User Group with guest speakers from NeuVector! The topic for this event will be OpenShift Protection in Production – Container Attack Vectors, Security Best Practices, and a Security/Service Mesh Approach.
This meetup will provide an overview of the attack vectors for container deployments and how the combination of OpenShift and NeuVector can detect and prevent damaging attacks. Michael Ka will discuss the importance of container technologies and creating a 'security mesh for a service mesh’. He will present the possibility of the convergence of traditional security silos like network security, endpoint security and server security, in the cloud native environment, into a ‘security mesh’ working with the Istio service mesh. Chip Hwang will give us a hands-on deep dive demo of container attacks, detection, and prevention.
