This New Ways of Working leadership follows John Hall’s townhall with Gene where he will discuss his most recent book, The Unicorn Project. In the townhall, Gene will explore the spectrum of cultural, experiential and value decisions we make that either enable greatness, or create chronic suffering and underperformance. Michael Cardy (MSc.) is a Chief Technology Strategist, a member of the Global Red Hat Chief Team and former Global CTO. Mr. Cardy provides his clients strategic vision and thought leadership in the domains of open organizations, culture and open source software technology through executive keynotes, academic lectures and transformative client engagements. Michael not only emphasizes harnessing the power of open source based software innovation, but also advocates for new approaches to processes (DevOps), and hybrid cloud deployment models, all of which accelerate value delivery and achieve greater business agility.
Todd Wilson, Chief Strategist, Red Hat
Todd has worked with leading edge technology and leveraging his skills as a change agent to deliver success through partnership and innovation for over 20 years. Prior to joining Red Hat Canada as a Chief Strategist, Todd was instrumental in helping government agencies in British Columbia increase public-value through the rapid creation of digital services using modern technologies and DevOps principles. His experience with enterprise technology transformation, coupled with a passion for open source collaboration drives him to seek out opportunities where he can share his knowledge at scale and spread the capability of digital delivery across sectors.
About Gene Kim
Gene is a DevOps enthusiast, as well as a multiple award winning CTO, researcher and author - arguably Gene is one of the key forefathers of the DevOps movement. He was founder and CTO of Tripwire for 13 years. He has written multiple books, including “The Visible Ops Handbook”, “The Unicorn Project” and “The Phoenix Project: A Novel About IT, DevOps, and Helping Your Business Win" and co-wrote “Accelerate: The Science of Lean Software and DevOps.”
Gene is a very dynamic and knowledgeable speaker and his presentations are a “must see” event!
