Ansible Automation Workshop

Join our local Ansible experts for a comprehensive overview of Ansible Engine and Ansible Tower and how they work together to automate basic tasks. This session will teach you what Ansible is, how it works in the most basic form on the command line and where Ansible Tower fits into it all. You will learn the basics required to start using Ansible Automation straight away.

• Creating and running a job template

Who Should Attend? 

Beginner - Intermediate users of Ansible, DevOps engineers, operations engineers, systems engineers, release engineers. system administrators, developers, operations staff, network engineers, and security professionals.

 

How we run the Virtual Workshop 

The workshop labs are self-paced. However, attendees will be asked to join us on video conferencing at certain points in the day. This is to ensure that they understand the concepts that are being introduced and how to access the lab environments. Once attendees have access to the lab environment they can work through the exercises at their own pace. Attendees and instructors will communicate over an online chat service that will be made available by the instructors. Instructors will assist with any issues over chat and where necessary, will use video calls to resolve any student issues.

 

Requirements

• Attendees should have working knowledge of using SSH and command line shell (BASH) as well as a conceptual understanding of linux system admin, DevOps and distributed application architecture
• Attendees must have admin rights on their laptop and the ability to SSH to a lab environment hosted in a public cloud 
• Connection to Google Meets video platform
