Developers are building new cloud-native applications using cloud-native architectures such as microservices (event and message-driven) and serverless. But what about the legacy, monolithic applications built using Enterprise Java™? Many developers have chosen other languages and frameworks due to Enterprise Java being slow to react to cloud-native architectures. That’s no longer necessary with the usage of Quarkus.

Quarkus is a Kubernetes-native Java stack crafted from Java libraries and standards with minimal boot time and low resident set size (RSS) memory utilization. Quarkus offers instant scaling in container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and brings joy back to Java development.

In this webinar, we’ll explore and demonstrate how using Quarkus allows Java developers to utilize cloud-native architecture while simultaneously increasing cloud efficiency and simplifies hybrid cloud application development.

Our webinar consists of two parts:

1. Putting serverless capabilities in Java developer's hands with Quarkus:
   • Using Quarkus to develop cloud-native microservices and serverless applications.


2. Building event-driven, serverless integration Quarkus:
   • Using Quarkus and Camel-K to create function-like applications in enterprises for an event-driven world.
