Transformation LIVE:

Psychological Safety, Organizational Resilience and DevOps

May 20, 20214:00 PM - 5:00 PM(GMT-04:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)

Transformation LIVE is an ongoing event series featuring open discussions with Red Hat® most experienced and accomplished leaders in digital transformation.

Red Hat experts cover specific topics like DevOps, automated governance, change management, open cultures, and more. All questions are welcome and are addressed in an open forum.

Topic: Psychological Safety, Organizational Resilience and DevOps

Psychological safety is the "shared belief that the team is safe for interpersonal risk taking" (Dr Amy Edmondson, 1999), and is the single most important factor in team performance, according to Google's Project Aristotle (2016). People, teams, and organisations that possess high levels of psychological safety will innovate faster, suffer fewer major incidents, and will adapt to changes faster than the competition.

As 2020 has shown us, resilience - that is, the ability to withstand and learn from challenges - is one of the most important capabilities of an organisation.
In this talk, we discuss how psychological safety is one of the most important factors in enabling organisations to be more resilient to challenges, and building a devops culture.
