April 29, 202112:00 PM - 2:00 PM(UTC-04:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)
Strategies to promote a culture of experimentation and collaboration to evolve Healthcare practice and purpose
AI/ML has begun to disrupt healthcare, and its impact carries potential for medical breakthroughs, improvements in quality of care, and dissemination of knowledge at a rate never experienced. In this disruption comes inherent risk. Collaborate with us as we discuss the emergence of AI/ML in healthcare, share your experiences and learn from one another.
Method
Lean Coffee is a structured, but agenda-less meeting. Participants gather, build an agenda, and begin talking. Conversations are directed and productive because the agenda for the meeting was democratically generated. Ben will supply a short list of seed topics, but participants will be asked to provide additional content to provide a more holistic collaboration.
Moderators:
Ben Cushing, Field CTO, Federal Health, Red Hat
For two decades, Ben Cushing has been a leader in emerging technology solutions across multiple industries and is committed to radical innovation in healthcare. Before joining Red Hat, he served as the Chief Technology Officer for MDLogix, a behavioral health IT firm supporting Johns Hopkins Medicine. There he architected and brought to market a behavioural health cloud platform for use with employer, healthcare, and education markets.

Andrew Clay Shafer, Vice President, Global Transformation, Red Hat
With over 20 years of technology experience helping startups and enterprise organizations, Andrew Clay Shafer brings his unique perspective to Red Hat’s Global Transformation Office. Mixing Agile with open source infrastructure automation, Andrew promoted DevOps ideals before DevOps was a word and he loves bringing people together with tech to solve real world problems. When Andrew is not sharing his ideas with the community at large, he will be found helping Red Hat customers transform to deliver better technology outcomes.
