Red Hat User Group

Are you passionate about locking down containers in production?

Join us at the next San Francisco Red Hat User Group with guest speakers from NeuVector!
This RHUG will focus on OpenShift Protection in Production – Container Attack Vectors, Security Best Practices, and a Security/Service Mesh Approach.
This event will provide an overview of the attack vectors for container deployments and how the combination of OpenShift and NeuVector can detect and prevent damaging attacks. Michael Ka will discuss the importance of container technologies and creating a 'security mesh for a service mesh’. He will present the possibility of the convergence of traditional security silos like network security, endpoint security and server security, in the cloud native environment, into a ‘security mesh’ working with the Istio service mesh. Chip Hwang will give us a hands-on deep dive demo of container attacks, detection, and prevention.

More about NeuVector:
Your enterprise is adopting a container-based application deployment strategy, across multi-cloud and on-prem platforms. These environments operate at highly automated scale with hundreds, and even thousands, of containers continuously interacting.  The combination of east-west container traffic explosion, limited network visibility and legacy security tools leave your security teams blind, powerless and at-risk. Your challenge is to protect  these deployments in production. NeuVector, the leader in Container Network Security, delivers highly integrated, automated security for OpenShift, and is the only next generation container firewall with packet-level interrogation and enforcement.
