Presentation overview:

In this session, Crunchy Data will walk you through its solutions certified for High Availability PostgreSQL for Red Hat® Ansible Tower for both VMs and OpenShift. They will share how management tools offer a stable method for scale and management of database nodes and content. Crunchy Data will cover how Verizon can achieve automated failover, healing, and disaster recovery to increase the availability of its Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and ensure that its data is always available.

Speakers:

Yogesh Sharma, Crunchy Data Director of Solutions Engineering, has over 18 years of experience in PostgreSQL, and developed Crunchy HA PostgreSQL for Red Hat Ansible. Yogesh also has 22 years with Unix/Linux, and enjoys tinkering with Linux, Networking, IoT, databases, and automation.

Jonathan Katz, Crunchy Data VP of Platform Engineering and PostgreSQL Community Core Team Member. Jonathan is responsible for products that enable the adoption of PostgreSQL on platforms such as Kubernetes, including the Crunchy PostgreSQL Operator.  Jonathan is also a Core Team Member of the PostgreSQL Project, responsible for advocacy, release and governance efforts, is Secretary and a board member for the nonprofit PostgreSQL Community Association of Canada, and is a board member of the nonprofit United States PostgreSQL Association.
