DevSecOps Workshop

The Red Hat® DevSecOps Workshop is a unique hands-on experience for building, deploying, and securing containerized cloud-native applications using industry-standard open source technologies.

You will learn how Red Hat OpenShift® Container Platform enables you to run mission-critical applications at scale, as well as how to leverage an assembly line approach that automates increasing levels of security assurance for each step in the process.

Attendees will apply DevSecOps techniques in building a Secure Software Factory on OpenShift for a Java based application, leveraging several containerized tools such as Gitea, Nexus, and Sonarqube. You'll also have the chance to work with Tekton, the serverless cloud-native CI engine behind OpenShift Pipelines, and CodeReady Workspaces, Red Hat's in-browser IDE with integrations for all of this tooling. 

During this workshop, the Red Hat team will guide you through an overview presentation and hands-on labs. Attendees will come out of this workshop with an understanding of how OpenShift Container Platform plays a crucial role in enabling a Trusted Software Supply Chain.

Prerequisites

• Laptop with a modern web browser.
• Basic understanding of containers, Linux® servers, and the application delivery process will help.
