Deploying an application on Kubernetes is trivial nowadays, but what about Day-2-Operations? How do we deploy, update and operate applications on Kubernetes in an automated fashion? Operators are one way to perform these Day-2-Operations.
This talk should be an introduction to Operators, how they work and what the issues with Operators are. Then, we'll have a look at how to work with Operators (Operator Lifecycle Manager) and how you can use the Operator Framework to build your own Operators (maybe even with Ansible under the hood!).
