Join us online to hear from Red Hat's Chief Energy Architect, John Archer, as he discusses how Red Hat can help address the challenges for an organization faced with the pressures of energy transition and global demand volatility.
Additionally, he will introduce Open Data for Industries (ODI) built on OpenShift and Cloud Pak for Data, one of the first joint efforts from both IBM and Red Hat. ODI provides a hybrid cloud data foundation for supporting wellbore and seismic data today with an upcoming roadmap of other domains including production, drilling, and reservoir related assets. ODI is a supported OSDU R2+ implementation based upon the open-source project within the Open Group called the OSDU Forum.
Listen in as John reviews Red Hat’s recently announced partnership with Schlumberger and their product plans with OpenShift. He will also review some recent efforts from Red Hat for edge computing and data science as it relates to the energy industry.
