January 7, 20219:00 AM - 12:00 PM (GMT+02:00) Brussels, Copenhagen, Madrid, Paris
Welcome to the first, virtual hands-on OpenShift Developer Roadshow!
We've built 4 modules for you to follow. The first 2 modules already took place, but you can register for the next 2 modules (which is highly recommended of course), or you can pick and choose the one most appealing to you.

Part 3 - Jan 7: Control Cloud Native Apps with Service Mesh

This module shows how developers can use the OpenShift service mesh to provide powerful visualization and control over their distributed microservice applications.

Business Challenges:
  • Customer dissatisfaction and lower retention due to unplanned downtime
  • Inefficient use of budget due to Lack of insights into application utilization and behavior over time
Developer/IT Challenges:
  • Increased unplanned downtime due to hard-to-diagnose bugs
  • "Big bang" Rolling out of updates to applications can be risky due to unforeseen issues
Goal of module:
To show how the OpenShift Service Mesh allows developers and IT staff to gain a deep understanding of their applications, and how to take an existing application and form a service mesh around its services to obtain such understanding.
YOUR HOST:

Kevin Dubois, Senior Solution Architect, Red Hat
