Webinar

Event Driven Architecture using AMQ Streams and OpenShift Serverless

September 10, 20202:00 PM - 3:00 PM(GMT-04:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)

Serverless and streaming technologies are at the forefront in transformational efforts. Businesses need to become more reactive to customers by creating responsive, cloud-native, modern applications that improve information flow across the enterprise.

Red Hat’s OpenShift® Serverless (Quarkus) framework and AMQ Streams coupled with Apache Kafka provide businesses with cost-savings and operational benefits by shifting provisioning and infrastructure responsibilities to frameworks. This enables you to focus on solving problems, quickly, at scale, and with high availability.

Vizuri, a Red Hat® APEX Partner, will lead us through an interactive discussion and business case for adopting agile and modern application designs (i.e. containers, serverless, streaming, etc.). Vizuri will demonstrate a Reference Architecture that utilizes Quarkus and AMQ Streams in OpenShift.

During the webinar, attendees will learn how:

  • Serverless designed applications provide businesses cost-savings for high-density, on-demand workloads
  • Utilizing the Quarkus Java™ Framework unifies the imperative and reactive programming model,
  • AMQ Data Streams yield a “scale to zero” design for cost efficiencies
  • Event Driven and Function-as-a-Service architectural designs deliver faster business agility with a lower-TCO
  • Quarkus and AMQ Streams can be used to improve information flow, reduce duplication, and create personalized consumer experiences
  • FaaS designs serve as an incremental business strategy to modernize systems through microservices

People that attend should include technology and business leaders that are moving to Serverless/FaaS applications:

  • IT Director
  • Chief Architect
  • Line of Business CIO,CTO, VP
