Red Hat Tech Talk for Westpac: Supporting the Network with Ansible Automation
Maintaining an always-on, high performing network infrastructure is time-consuming and resource-intensive. Automation is the key to getting more work done in less time, reducing the quantity and duration of change windows, minimising the risk of human error, and ensuring changes preserve compliance with security policy.
This Tech Talk will introduce you to the concepts of Ansible Automation for managing a wide range of networking devices such as load balancers, switches and routers. You will discover how quickly you can master Ansible’s language and how to apply this skill to automating tasks ranging from routine back-ups and firmware updates, to ad-hoc device interrogation and change testing.
Join us to discover how Ansible compliments Westpac's existing network management tools and discuss some of the endless variety of use cases made possible by Ansible’s open source heritage.
